Lisa Flanary

With more than 25 years of experience, Lisa Flanary is Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer at Security Benefit where she leads the company’s integrated growth strategy and execution across the enterprise. To support this work, she oversees the company’s strategy, brand, marketing, sales enablement, product and value management, and communications functions.

Prior to her current role, she served as Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer where she led the integration of brand, marketing and communications functions at Security Benefit. Her career includes executive leadership roles at Thrivent and Allstate, as well as serving as CEO of Degree of Honor Protective Association, where she led its successful merger with Catholic Financial Life.

Lisa holds bachelor’s degrees in journalism and mathematics from Augustana University and an MBA from the University of Illinois–Chicago.
