Karma Mason

Karma Mason calls Wichita home. This is where she and her husband Gary started their own environmental consulting firm in their dining room in 1990 and grew the company, iSi Environmental Services, both in number of employees (150+) and diversity of services. After 30 years, they officially turned the company over to their son and daughter in 2021. 

A licensed professional geologist, Karma earned her master’s degree in Geology from Wichita State University. Over her career, she has provided technical expertise to local, state and federal governments and organizations as needed for soil, groundwater, hydrological, geological data interpretation, and hazardous materials cleanup services.  She managed numerous multi-year, multi-million dollar contracts. 

Karma has served on numerous local and regional boards for the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Kansas Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Additionally, she served four terms, for four different governors, on the Kansas Water Authority, representing the Kansas Chamber and its members. She is currently Chairwoman for the Kansas Chamber Board.
