Carrie Rahfaldt

Carrie’s diverse professional career began with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Arkansas and experience as an on-air reporter. She went on to build a successful career in public relations and communications, including serving as Marketing Print Media Manager for Walmart Stores, Inc., before spending several years in pharmaceutical sales with Pfizer, Inc and Duramed Pharmaceuticals.

After serving as PTO President, Carrie joined the Blue Valley School District as a Special Education Para, gaining firsthand experience working with students and families in her community. Following an unsuccessful campaign for the Kansas Legislature, she returned to her communications roots, joining the Office of the Kansas Speaker of the House as Communications Director and later serving as Chief of Staff.

Carrie remains actively involved in the Blue Valley community. She serves on the district’s Special Education Advisory Committee and volunteers with the Blue Valley North football program, helping coordinate team meals and activities.

Outside of her professional and community commitments, Carrie and her husband own Perkins Restaurant and Bakery franchises across multiple states. They live in Leawood with their three sons, ages 17, 15, and 12.
